So this week was our busiest week of the transfer due to meetings and trains and other grejer. I kinda liked the Hermana Hemmingsen bullet point email so imma gunna try it again ;) #tacksis
- MLC (mission leadership conference) on Tuesday. This transfer's focus is on member missionary work and also the Sabbath day. Elder Rasmussen and Sahlin gave a great training on how we can work with members better. Member missionary work is the best! Do you hear that random members who are reading this?! Go help the missionaries!!
- On Wednesday we got ready for our zone training here in Stockholm and also had a meeting with the stake president and President Beckstrand. The Stake pres forgot to tell us he wasn't coming so Archibald, President Beckstrand, and I got blåsted by the stake pres (blåsted is a term for when someone doesn't show up to a lesson) I am glad that the Stake Pres in my home ward would never do that ;) #HiDad Anyway, President Beckstrand gave us a plate of Banana Bread that Sister Beckstrand made for us!! #favorites
- On Thursday Archi and I gave our zone training. It went realllly well. We were blessed to have both the assistants and Beckstrands present. Oh how I love the leaders of this mission!! You dudes are best!
So Archibald and I wanted to make some type of dessert while we were doing our weekly calling reports. So naturally, I start making some cinnamon rolls right?? After I am already committed with making those, I realized we were short on flour.... butter.... brown sugar.... and had absolutely nothing to make frosting...... #planning Sooooo Archi is like "Hey let's go knock on the neighbor's door!" So that is what we did! We only asked for flour, and then I churned some milk into butter and Archibald created this random concoction of a frosting, which was super good!! We also found some brown sugar tucked away in the back of a shelf. Then after they were done, we shared our cinnamon rolls with the neighbors hahahah :)
Well that was the happenings of the week! Elder Archibald and I have been going ham and cheese. Barbara is still on pace to be baptized. Like she could be baptized anytime but just wants to do it on her birthday. Also, we contacted this family on the street Saturday and invited them to church and they came! They even brought a friend! The wife loved sacrament meeting and she is excited to come back next week and he has read from the Book of Mormon and has some questions!!1 We are so blessed!!
I love you all so much!!! The mission is such a blessing. Connor your so lucky to have it all before you! love you man!
S/O to Robert and Kristina in Malmö and congratulations! You guys are the best ever!!!!!!
Love and peace yo.
