Saturday: We met with Lukas and invited him to read Alma 32 in the Book of Mormon.
Sunday: Lukas reads Alma 32-63, the testimony of the three and eight witnesses, the Joseph Smith Story, and the introduction to the Book of Mormon too! WOW!
Tuesday: We saw Lukas again. Ok so check this out. He had a lesson and He told us all that he read and then he said "I have got a feeling that I can not deny." Lukas is so prepared and is working towards baptism! PS he showed up to the lesson in a suit! THE MAN.
We had our last District meeting together. I am so grateful to have served with this missionaries and I have learned so much from them all! I am sad to leave!! We also saw our investigator Luka. Ok so check this out.
Wednesday and Thursday were pretty normal and super rainy (typical Sweden) #ew
On Friday we went out to see Lukas in his town of Mariefred. Go google that place! it is the most beautiful town I have ever seen! Jodi, we are going. He took us to The Royal Castle too. It is 1 of 10 Royal Castles in Sweden. Not gunna lie, it was pretty royal. #BoysinBlue Lukas is doing so well but he couldn't get to church this week becasue the train only came at 5am and 12pm... :( hopefully his mom can give him a ride tho! hahaha
Then President called me Friday night right before sports night and told me I would be transferring to Gubbängen to be with Elder Dahle. Elder Dahle has been on the mish for about 20 months so I am excited to learn from him. Gubbängen is a big ward (like 100+ish members) So I am excited for that! I can also go on splits with some of my buds like Elder Treat and Pappa Razz!
Ok and then Saturday so super crazy, get a load of this...
So we were suppose to help this person move in Strängäs (like 30 minute train ride away) but the other Tuna elders were super late so we missed the bus.. We then went to the train station but the next train was in 2 hours so that only left us with one option.... a taxi. So we go up to the Cab driver and ask him how much it cost, he said 900kr (100 plus dollars). Wow.... so then we go to the next guy and ask him.. 800kr..... Elder Carrigan turns around to me and says "what did the other guy say, 650kr??" I am like "yeah that is right". Then Carriagan says to the driver "can you do it for 600kr?"
Yeah we got the ride for 600kr ;)
So then Elder Christley and I headed off to the baptism in Södertälje. It was a super good service and Lasse is such a humble little Swede :) It went super well and the spirit was super strong.
When we were about to get on the train I realized I left my wallet at the church (Jodi mistake) and so we ended up staying the night in Södertälje with the Zone Leaders. They have a sauna and so that was super fun!!
We got back to Tuna on Sunday morning and we were both just so wiped out... Church was good, I blessed the sacrament, translated during sacrament meeting, bore my testimony, and gave the priesthood lesson :) haha it is nice to feel needed. I am going to miss this place so much! these people are so nice and loving!
I leave Tuna Wednesday morning, I have learned a lot here. It is crazy to think that this is my fifth area!! Life is so good :) I couldn't be happier, (well I could be with the 912 clan but they know I love 'em) Have a good week y'all!
