Quote of the week:
"Four is basically 7 , so Christmas is basically next week."
Guys I love Elder Albertsen!! I have never really met him until we were companions but he is honestly one of the funniest guys I have ever met! If you turn Danielle Wilkinson into a 20 year-old missionary in Sweden, who loves wrestling, then you have Elder Albertsen. It has been a blast!!
This week is kinda a blur and like this time I mean it! Elder Albertsen and I have been LOVIN it. We just laugh and drive our car, chat and drive our car, teach and drive our car, and serve... and drive our car. :) Did I mention we have a car? ;) #sweg
Well Utby is a good place! The ward is huge and everyone is so happy and friendly. I guess you were right Elder Sahlin!!
Well this journey to Göteborg has been short lived. There was a missionary who was waiting for a visa to go to Taiwan and he got it last week so there were a couple of emergency transfers in the mission to fix. I received a phone call from my good friend President Beckstrand on Friday and it turns out I will be transferring back to Stockholm to a little place called Täby. My new companions will be Elders Sahlin and Archibald. I look forward to being back with my second favorite Idaho missionary (Elder Treat you're #1) again! I am also incredibly excited to be with the most Chrsit-like missionary I have ever met, Elder Sahlin. Plus he is a native Swede!
With that said, Utby will break what I thought to be an unbreakable record for me. An area for only 5 days! I am happy to be going back to Stockholm for Christmas. I am also a little sad to be leave Göteborg because the people are truly good!
Well I just want to wrap up with an awesome quote I heard this week from a talk called the "Becoming a Consecrated missionary" by Tad R. Callister:
(referring to your experience as a missionary)
"If you only change your behavior, then you will be the same person you were when you left home, subject to the same problems that plagued you then. But if you change your nature you will go home a new man or woman, with the power and discipline to conquer your old Goliaths."
Some thing that Sister Beckstrand says often at conferences is "Don't go through your mission but let your mission go through you".
I pray that I may become the person that the Lords needs me to be. But the mission is not the end of progression. That is a life long journey.
Thanks for all the love!! I miss y'all and hope you have a riktig bra jul!! You will all hear from me in Stockholm next week! LOVES
