Haha!!! What's up everybody!?
So it has been a crazy last week weeks! Sorry I didn't write last Monday, we had a small emergency to take care of, but it is all good now!
I just wanna tell a little about Jasmine. Jasmine is our investigator from China who is the most (I know I have said this a lot but I actually mean it this time) prepared person I have ever met! We met her for the first time Dec 15th and she is getting baptized this Saturday.
She has DRANK up the gospel. Every drop. She reads, learns, applies, repeats. Like she was literally quoting scripture from Mosiah 2 in our lesson last week!! She is awesome!
Well last week we went Norrland to do some splits with those missionaries and President also had to take care of some interviews! It was sooooooo cold like I don't know how those missionaries still do it! Way to be fellas!
So I got two funny stories all right?!
So there just so happenes to be "The World's biggest cheese slicer" on E4 between Umeå and Skellefteå. President is obsessed with it (he'll never admit it) but he wanted to go take a picture by it. It was like -28 so no one dared to go out with him but me (of course) to get the pic. So we are walking over to take the pic and I hear "I am falling... oh yep.. yep I fell..." I turned around and pres was on the ground! hahaha I tried to help him up and almost fell on him! Never the less we got the pic... and a selfie ;)
So to start off this next story just remember that bathrooms here look like the same no matter what gender and sometimes they can be even combined alright?
So we go for dinner in Luleå and I had to use the bathroom so I ran down, went and came back.. Someone sitting at the next table said "I think i saw a man come out of the women's bathroom? He was wearing a white shirt, tie and glasses?" Yep... that is my life... #awk
I also had the opportunity to go on splits with the legendary Elder Isrealsen. He is even from Westminster, Colorado! He is honestly one of the best to come to Sweden and he is doing amazing things. I seriously learned so much from him in the short time we were together. Love you man! Keep it up baby!
Well I can't believe this transfer is almost over. I am going to miss Elder Sahlin so much. He is absolutly amazing. He has poured his heart and soul into this mission and has never wasted one minute. We will miss his influence. I am glad that I still got my main man Elder Archibald. We know that there are great things in store for this mission.
On average this mission gets 4 investigators to commit to baptism a week. Last week we decided to set a goal with the mission and have every companionship try and get a baptismal date. We went from only having 29 dates in the mission to having 55 in one week. The Lord's hand is truly in this work. I love this place with all my heart :)
I hope you guys have a great week!! hej hej... hejjjj. hejjj.... hej.
