How was the week everybody!? Elder Archibald and I conquered three splits this week so we were only companions for like 3 days this week hahaha... I love Elder Archibald! So one of the splits this week was in Umeå. Instead of taking the usual plane ride.... we drove! We drove because the Örnsköldsvik elders needed a car. While we were driving we were able to see the northern lights!! It was the strongest I have seen them. Wow, they are so amazing!
We took a plane home on Wednesday night and crashed. (we crashed into our beds, not on the plane) We got up Thursday, had district meeting (Elder Castleton-Rudolph did a great job even though his name is too long.) Then Elder Archibald and I spent time planning for Zone Conference. We will be having three conferences next week so we need lots of time to plan.
On Thursday I went down to Södertälje to be on splits with Elder Peterson! I was sooo impressed by him. He was a good missionary when we were companions but he has grown into a GREAT missionary. Keep it up man :) #S/O to Porterville! We taught a man by the name of Fidelis there. Last time I was in Södertälje, Elder Larson and I got a baptismal date with him! It was good to see him progressing and his date is even on my birthday! ( March 26th)
Splits ended Friday night and we drove straight to Gubbängen. I took Elder Burton to Täby with me and Elder Archibald stayed in Gubb. Elder Burton is an awesome missionary, wow this mission has lots of awesome missionaries. Saturday morning we woke up and went to help some one move. They were moving into an apartment on the seventh floor. All of the big furniture was too big for the elevator so we had to take...... the stairs. Seven floors..... of spiral stair cases... I have never been so dizzy in my life!
Saturday we looked back at Zone Conference, and went to Presidents to do some final preparations. I just would like to say that one of the greatest things I have learned from President is that God magnifies those he calls. I am always amazed by the ability The Beckstrands have to give trainings. They are definitely called of God!
Well, this has been a good week. We will be heading over to Göteborg this week and the other two conferences are here in Stockholm. Life is good :) There is no greater thing in the world then being a missionary and there is no better place to do it then in Sweden. I hope everyone that has the opportunity to serve a mission, goes. There are lessons that you can only learn as a missionary. JUST DO IT.
Ha det bra! Vi hörs nästa vecka!
