So like this week has been one of the busiest weeks of the mish. I have some random stories to tell you and also some rather good news but yeah ;)
Äldste Krebs and I got to go on splits this week! It was fun to go round 2 with the old companion! I didn't realize how great we got along. It was a lot of fun and we taught some people that we use to teach when we were comps so that was fun.
Ok random story #1. So I don't know how much knowledge you guys have on European soccer but there is a famous person player from Malmö named Zlatan and Krebs and I are pretty sure we saw his car this week. I have a pic, I doubt anyone else in Rosengård (the part of Malmö Zlatan is from) has a car like this, you'll see ;)
Random story #2 On Thursday we did some service for familjen Molbaek. After we were done, Äldste Hemmingsen forgot to grab the keys to the apartment, and the Molbaeks left to Denmark for the weekend... We called the people with a spare key but they lost that key too. Long story short we were able to get the key from the guy who actually owns the apartment. That was a pretty lame synopsis (woah big word) but like we were locked out of our apartment until 18.00 and we didn't have white shirts and ties to change into because we had been laying tile at the Molbaeks... haha
Well now time for the success. Our investigator Su has been investigating since September and this week we were able to get a baptismal date with him for the middle of February! It is definitely something for him to work for and I know that the Lord can provide a way for Su to be ready to enter the waters of baptism!
Also we have an investigator named Sammy. He grew up in Sweden and has had many many many problems in his life. About a year ago he decided he wanted to change. He meet a guy in a rehab center that was LDS. We got a baptismal date with him for the last week of February! Sammy is a great guy and I am so excited to help him change!
No matter who you are or what your situation, the Gospel of Jesus Christ will improve your life.
Well y'alls know that I love ya!! Hope everyone has a fantastic week!! Thank you for your prayers and letters, there are no better people in the world than you guys :)
