Well I'll just dive right into things, we had a hard working week but it was very rewarding!! We were able to find a handful of investigators from trackting, area book, and what not. Our most positive investigator is named Agneta, she is a Swede. This is the first time on my mission that I have taught a riktig Swede so that is exciting!! She has three children and meet the missionaries a long time ago. We have only taught her once and she was very open about reading the Book of Mormon and finding the truth!! We plan on talking about baptism this next week!!
We also knocked on the door of a less active/part member family this week too named the Camachos #spanishspeakers. They are from Colombia and there are a total of TEN people in that family. They will over double our branch if we get them back!! The mom said it is hard for her to get everyone to church and especially in the winter (I don't blame her there are 9 ninos runnin around!!! #giftoftongues) but once it warms up.. bang bang they are in :) They are such a cool family!!
We have had lots of little miracles pop up too in our days. Like we were doing our personal studies and out of the blue this new convert that my man Elder Barker dunked last summer calls us and is like "hey I am in Skellefteå, can we meet??" #självklartkompis
We also got the most amazing smelling handsoap in the world!! Hahaha I count that as a miracle!! #raspberrymango
I have had some of the best time my whole life studying from the Scriptures these last few weeks. I can't even beging to express all my thoughts. I have read almost the whole 3rd book of Nephi this week and there have been some many verses/chapters that make me realize how much I love our Savior.
On thing I thought about was how big of a leader Lehi and Nephi were as missionaries. It is not easy at all to be a leader especially among such wicked people like they were. There was next to no one in that city that wanted to listen. How blessed am I to not be in that situation!! Anyway, they were able to be so successful after the trial of their faith. Diligence is key fellas!! They might have felt pretty alone in that wicked city but think how alone Christ might have felt as he hung on the cross. He did that for you personally. Think about the Temple, when we do work in the Temple, it is for one person at a time, not a huge mass. each soul is sooo significant in the sight of the Lord and he takes time each and everyone of us. I just have one more thought on how the Lord loves us all individually..
D&C 112:10
10 Be thou humble; and the Lord thy God shall lead thee by the hand, and give thee answer to thy prayers.
Think how personal it is to lead someone with your hand. Only one person can hold your hand at a time. "The Lord shall lead YOU by the hand and give YOU answers to thy prayers"
Amen to that kiddos.
I wanna give a few S/O att sluta my weekly report to Jodi
