Well This week I was on splits in my old area of K-holm! Elder Bailey and I had a solid day and we actually had a lesson with a guy in a prison... Now you must remember now that Swedish prison is nothing like America. Like to be completely honest it is basically a hospital looking building where they babysit adults because the adults have a bad attitude about one thing or another... yeah it is pretty weak hahaha
We also met with Hadi! Hadi got baptized this February in the half frozen lake, he is such a stud! We also saw Kenneth and he is doing a lot better and is planing to get baptized this month. #fingerscrossed! Kenneth is a stud and is so ready!
We had a good lesson with Sarah this week. She talks and has the same ideas as a member does. This new job just makes it hard or her to come to church and meet very often. But she reads the Book of Mormon and likes it a lot! She told us that she is going to write a book that will influence people to read the Book of Mormon so that is a positive sign! She is cool stuff!
We also had a first lesson with this Greek guy we met on the street and he ended up being super atheist.. He tried to get us to stop believing in God and you could just tell that he was not there. So I would just like to just reaffirm (good word Hemmingsen) how I know that a belief in God will be a blessing to all those who follow him. Some people think that God's laws bind you down but honestly they truly set you free. Think about what happens to you once you take apart of the things of the world. Then you become addicted and no longer have control of yourself. But if you follow God, His commandments will allow you to live the most fulfilling life possible and even a more fulfilling life after this one.
John 8:32 Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
How true that is. The truth is what sets us free.
For P-Day we were invited by a member to go with him to a big outlet mall down in Vinåker and then he also stopped a castle so we could "take some pics for our mothers". So thank Dennis for the castle pics Jodi ;) #loveyou But the castle was awesome! we couldn't go inside because there is a family that lives there (what how sick is that!?) and you have to book a time :( but it was still soooo beautiful and it was right on a huge lake! Super dope!
