On Monday we went to pick up Elder Bradshaw from Handen. On Tuesday we spent lots of time planning MLC. (mission leadership conference) We started planning real early because was it on Friday. We had it early because President Beckstrand is going to be in Germany this week.
We also met with Jasmine on Tuesday. She has been blessed to stay in Sweden a little longer and is having a job interview next week. She is so nervous but will do a great job! We will be taking her to the temple this week. She has been doing her family history and found more names. She "GETS it" as my father would say.
Elder Clouse (the office couple here) said something that I find interesting.
"If you want guaranteed blessings from Heaven, do the work of salvation. That includes 1. family history work. 2. Temple work. and 3. Missionary work." What a wise man he is.
We had transfers this week. The man himself Elder Archibald took a train at 14.21 on Wednesday to the wonderful land of Skåne :) I am so grateful for the example Elder Archibald was to me. He understands his calling and purpose as a missionary as does everything in his power to fulfill it. Miss you bro! #insertsecrethandshakehere
Thursday morning we took the dying missionaries (those going home) to the airport. They were all happy and cheerful until we could see the airport in view. We unloaded all their bags and got them in line to get boarding passes. When they got to the front of the line, their booking numbers were invalid and they didn't have tickets home... nuts!! So we packed up their bags again and took them back to the mission home. They ended up having to stay another day!
Elder Bradshaw got really sick on Thursday. The poor dude was all drugged up and just not feeling well. We woke up at 3:30 am Friday morning to get the missionaries off to the airport. This time they had tickets ;)
MLC was also on Friday. The topic was lesson 4 from chapter 3 of PMG "The Commandments" President and Sister Beckstrand talked about why we have commandments and Elder Bradshaw and I talked about the what and how. It went super good! Elder Bradshaw is a very passionate speaker. It went super well. I love testifying of this gospel. That is when I feel the spirit the most.
Jing is also doing super well. He has come to church every week for a few months. He is just a little scared to take the next step. Bradshaw and I are going to get real with him this week. He would make such a good member!
This week I was talking to our ward mission leader and he highly encouraged me to study Acts and learn of Paul. Paul was an incredible man and truly was converted to the last minute. He endured to the end.
I hope you guys have a super good week! I love you all and am grateful for the suppot I feel here in Sweden. You're all the best!
Also remember Elder Christley in your prayers. He needs 'em! Thanks :))
