This week was really good! Each week seems to be better than the last. We were able to meet a couple from Argentina this week named Diego and I forgot her name... oops.. But they were positive and Diego told me that he is trying to find the right church for him and his wife #touchdownz We were also walking down the street the other day and I saw this dude trying to just start his car and before I knew it, I was looking under the hood with him and was like (Yeah.. well.. yeah.. looks like...
"uhh. well... you're engine.. is.. uhh... still sitting.. eller.. err. uhh yeah.. have you engine.. uhh you have an engine??" I know about this much about cars --> -2.... #sorryJamie
Ok I have a random story from Malmö for y'all hahaha :) So like one time Raz and I were walking down the gatan and I could tell this one dude on the other side of the street was looking at us so I waved and said "hej hej!" and he was like "Nej tack!" (no thank you). I was like "what!?! Like I didn't even say anything!?!" People just recognize us immediately which can be good and not so good sometimes haha. I felt like Josh from Drake and Josh when he gets a package and tells the mailman to have a nice day and the mailman is like "don't tell me what to do" #jokes
This week we have A LOT planned #partytimebaby. We are going to a school to give a presentation on 'Merica Land #U.S.OF.A. and then we also have our district conference in Umeå and The President himself (and the fru) will be coming and he is interviewing the missionaries, I am so pumped! President Beckstrand is a spiritual giant and I love listening to the man and learning from him!
I also found out that a man that Krebs and I found in Malmö and then Brinkworth and I taught, got baptized this last week!! Good job boys and congrats Bill!!
We also had a fantastic zone training this week about how to improve our personal studies. They compared our time we spend studying the gospel to "God's Classroom". They asked us questions like What kind of student are you? Do you arrive on time? Do you ask questions? Do you sit in the back row on your phone? I thought it was such a perfect example! During my studies this week I learn how personal the gospel really is. "Be humble and The Lord thy God shall lead thee by thy hand and give answers to your prayers" (D&C 110:10) "And he (The Lord) took their children, one by one, and blessed them" (3 Nep 17:21) "The good Shepard doth call after you and if you will hearken unto his voice he will bring you unto his fold, and ye are his sheep." (Alma 5:60) [emphasis added by ->me<- ;)] Please consider the simplicity in these verse and how they are directed to an individual person. They sound poetic to me! The number one most important relationship some needs is with your Heavenly Father. (your mom is a close second ;) ) Through prayer we can build this relationship. #I<3prayer
