Well first off, our next P-day will be on this Saturday because we will be having transfers on Monday. We get transfer calls on Saturday too so it will be a crazy day. Ras and I think that Ras is leaving but we really have no idea. So yeah next P-day is on Saturday! Glöm inte det!
We also have decided to move Donald's baptism to the 29th because we need more time to teach him. He is progressing super well and has been reading a lot but there is just not enough time to prepare him completely for the 22nd. I am glad we decided to move it back but I am sad that there is a chance that Ras won't be here for the baptism... :( Donald is super ready though and is doing it for the right reasons!
So we also had the Spanish fireside this week and it went wayyy better than we thought it would. Brother Mendez was planning on about 30ish people coming but we ended up having over twice as many! After the meeting was over, I was talking to a buddy Lucio (he is like 6) and we ended up racing across the gym, I have a video and it is pretty funny hahaha :)
Ok but there is also this Swedish tradition that dates back to the vikings age called surströmming. Basically, the vikings use to eat fish that has been soaked in salt and water for so long that it starts to become rotten. You can still buy cans of it here in Sweden. Sooo Äldste Schwabedissen thought it would be a good idea to buy some so that all the missionaries in Malmö could eat it together to form some "unity".... so Friday night we all walked out to the beach to eat some rotten fish! I was the first one to go and yeah... it was the nastiest thing I have ever had... I have a video of it and I'll try to figure out how to send it home!
So then also this week while Ras and I were weekly planning, we both felt like we should go out and contact some more. We were both already in our sweats and were done for the day but then Ras asked me what I thought we should do, I then said "We both know what has to be done." So then we went out and started talking to this one man about The Restoration. As we were talking to him, our investigator Su (who we have not seen in 2 weeks) just so happened to walk by! We got talking to him too and then he asked us if we could meet on Tuesday again.
I know that because Ras and I acted upon that prompting from the Spirit, we were able to get a hold of Su again. Sometimes (more like every time) it will not be convenient to follow those promptings but when we do, we align our will with the Lord's. This is something that is difficult but doable. Always, always, always listen to the Spirit so that you can be an instrument in his hands.
I love you all!! Sweden is good and we are getting ready for Christmas! This week should be crazy once again especially with transfers coming up. It will be sad if Ras and I seperate but that is just mission life. I think Ras' mom reads my blog soooo I'd just like to say; good job Mrs. Ras, you've raised a good missionary :)
Thank you so much for all the prayers. I need 'em! Love y'all and I'll see ya soon!
