So this week was rather najs as usual :)
We had MLC (mission leadership conference) on Tuesday and our focus this transfer is going to be on the Temple. We held the MLC at the Västerhaninge Chapel instead of our normal Mission Home location. Our idea was to take the MLC to a session at the temple after the MLC but (something must go wrong) the Temple was closed for cleaning... So we went on a little hike to some Viking burial grounds instead! It was super cool tho :)
Anyway, the MLC was really really good. President talked about eternal families and the blessing it is. Elder Bradshaw and I talked about how to help less active and new members do temple work. Sister Beckstrand taught on being endowed with power from the temple. This was one of my favorite MLCs becasue of how spiritual it was. The blessings/knowledge that come from the temple is why I am a member. I love my family so much and I know our family is eternal because of the temple. It brings so much joy! Who wouldn't want that!?
We spent a lot of time this week up in a city called Norrtälje. Elder Bradshaw found this gold mine area on splits one time. We have found a good amount of people to start teaching there and it has been super nice. Lots of beginning stage investigators but hopefully it'll turn out well :)
We also drove down to my old area of Eskilstuna this week for the Södertälje zone training. It was super nice to be in my old area and see the chapel/city. The training was fantastic. Elder Burton and Halterman are two of best missionaries and leaders in the mission. They did a wonderful job and I was very impressed with their training. Good job!!
We also had a Zone training in Stockholm and it was super good!! That was on Friday and we also had splits that day with the Handen ZLs. I was with Elder Burke. We went out to that area again to do work. It was good! Elder Burke is a good missionary who is super good at being thorough. He was an office elder a few months ago so I think it comes from that haha
On Saturday we played our weekly Täby soccer match. It was me and the high priests vs the american missionaries. We won ;) haha
Saturday was my highlight. Elder Bliss and I went on splits to go to the baptism of a mutural investigator we had in E-Tuna named Sarah. I don't know if anyone remebers her but Sarah was an investigator that Elder Christley and I found in the area book and then Elder Bliss came in and cleaned up. It was cool to see the change she has had since last year, she now understands what the gospel means. She even sowed her own baptismal dress!!
So yeah, the mish is good. It is coming to an end but it happens to everyone. I feel like the biggest blessing of the mission is learning how living the gospel (not just knowing) is a blessing. God is good :)
Have a good week kiddos!! Miss y'all!!
